You have experienced a situation in training or competition that affects you? You are insulted, excluded or someone has caused you pain? Sport should bring you joy and strengthen you. So talk about it when a situation in sport feels wrong.

With the “Are you OK?” campaign, Swiss Olympic draws attention to situations in the sports environment that can be stressful or hurtful. The focus is on the question “Are you OK?” and the two core messages: “Talk about it when it feels wrong” and “Get support”.

In April 2021, Swiss Olympic conducted a survey of cardholders on their training and competition conditions. Over 90% of athletes experience a safe and supportive sporting environment. However, incidents where they were heavily pressured, insulted, harassed or overcharged unfortunately do occur.
That is not OK. With its “Are you OK?” campaign, Swiss Olympic is drawing attention to situations in the sports environment that can be stressful or hurtful. The focus is on the question “Are you OK?” and the two core messages: “Talk about it when it feels wrong” and “Get support”. Swiss Olympic supports athletes and their environment with various offers so that such experiences no longer have a place in sport.
