Davide Corrodi/Maja Kucharczyk have advanced to the third round at the Standard World Championships in Sibiu, Romania, ultimately finishing 33rd out of 71 couples. Placings in the top half of the rankings are now „normality” for the couple from Turniertanzsportclub Zug (TSCZ). A fortnight ago in Brno/TCH, they finished 36th out of 81 couples. And at the European Ten Dance Championships in Rome/ITA a month ago, they even shone in 4th place and recorded their best career result.
The next highlight for Corrodi/Kucharczyk will be the Swiss Championships in Ticino. On Saturday, 22 November, they will challenge last year's winners Vova Kasilov/Yulia Dreier (DUZ) in the standard competition at the Centro Sportivo in Tenero. On Sunday, they will be defending champions themselves in the ten-dance competition.
Anyone who wants to challenge Corrodi/Kucharczyk on the dance floor can still register until 8 November. And this weekend in Ticino will also be spectacular for the audience. In 2014, the last time Tenero hosted the Swiss dance elite, the hall was packed and the atmosphere was fantastic. Hotel rooms near the sports hall can still be booked. Noi tutti - andiamo al Ticino!
