From now on, the now well-known Covid certificate obligation, the 3G regulation, applies to all persons involved in STSV tournaments. Every dancer, the jury, the audience and also the helpers must therefore be able to prove that they have either been vaccinated, recovered or tested. This check will take place before entry into the hall.
Children and young people up to 16 years of age are exempt from this Covid certificate requirement.
The usual hygiene rules still apply indoors, such as hand disinfection, as well as the recommendation to observe the distance rules if possible.

Even if the Federal Council has not yet extended the certificate obligation or made it mandatory for sporting events as a matter of principle, the STSV board wants to give the highest priority to the health protection of all people present at a dance sport tournament. We are counting on the solidarity and acceptance of the dance sport family.

This regulation will come into force for the first time on the coming weekend of 11/12 September at the Swiss Senior Championships and the Bernese Championships in Schwarzenburg and will remain in force until further notice.

Certificates for “tested” are issued after a negative PCR test or a negative rapid antigen test. Self-tests are not recognised. The validity of the tests are for:

  • PCR test: 72 hours from the time of sample collection.
  • Rapid antigen test: 48 hours from the time of sample collection.
