DanceDrive Zurich (DDZ), based in Oberengstringen, will be accepted as a new STSV member as of 8 January 2026. The one-month consultation process was not utilised and the current STSV members have thus followed the recommendation of the Executive Board. The DDZ applied for admission to the STSV on 10 November 2025, submitting valid association statutes, a list of members and officers as well as a description of the association's activities in the field of dance sport. Welcome to the STSV community!
Two clubs leave STSV
Two clubs - the Academy Lucky Dance Lausanne (ALDL) and the Dance Sport Academy Ticino (DSAT) - have left the STSV at their own request as of 31 December 2025. The decision was made in connection with the new association statutes approved at the extraordinary delegates' meeting on 6 December 2025 in Olten. The presidents of the two clubs informed the association that their clubs would not be able to fulfil the now more precise statutory membership requirements. The dance couples licensed with these clubs until the end of 2025 will have to join another STSV member club if they wish to continue competing in STSV and WDSF competitions.
