Once again, their dreams of reaching the final at the World Ten Dance Championships unfortunately remained unfulfilled - the Swiss dance couple Davide Corrodi/Maja Kucharczyk finished in 11th place in the Armenian capital Yerevan, a relatively long way off the top six they were aiming for.
This hope was fuelled in particular by a 7th place last year, when the up-and-coming TSCZ pairing only narrowly missed out on the final. And the main rehearsal for the World Championships a week earlier at a World Cup tournament in Spain, which the Swiss champions finished in 4th place, also gave rise to these expectations. Corrodi/Kucharczyk, who will once again perform in front of their home crowd at the SM Standard in Wettingen on 23 November, will continue their consistent training and attack again in 2025.
Last year's bronze medallists Akim Pekunov/Masa Kastelic from Slovenia were crowned world champions. The Polish European champions Armand Fazullin/Klaudia Iwanska from Poland had to settle for silver, while the Armenian World Championship newcomers Yaroslav Kiselev/Sofia Filipchuk secured bronze.
