WDSF Open Congress

Training of current WDSF-licensed Standard and Latin judges and new applicants for the WDSF judging licence. The congress is also open to WDSF athletes and registered observers and offers them the opportunity to better understand the WDSF scoring criteria and improve their competition performance.

Admission criteria for WDSF adjudicators

The congress is open to:
1. all WDSF A, B and C licence judges for the Standard and Latin disciplines
2. recognised WDSF Adjudicators B and C licence applicants
3. for new WDSF Adjudicator's Licence applicants: Registration for this Congress is only open to those who have completed the entire WDSF Adjudicator's Licence online application before the registration deadline.
4. new applicants for the WDSF Judges Licence should consult the WDSF Competition Rules to ensure that all requirements are met.
Please note:
- Existing WDSF judges are encouraged to attend this congress, which will also extend the validity of their judges' licences by two years.
- The General Knowledge Test (GKT) will not be conducted at this congress.

Admission criteria for athletes and observers

The congress is open to:
1. WDSF athletes (with WDSF-MIN) and other dance sport enthusiasts (observers).
2. observers of a WDSF Congress can only register through their WDSF National Member Organisation (NMB). The NMB can pay the observer online or delegate the payment to the observer.

Course costs

For applicants for a referee licence and other observers:
- CHF 100.00
- All payments for WDSF judges licence applicants, current WDSF officials and other observers must be made online.
- No registration or entry is permitted on the day of the course and no late registrations will be accepted.
For WDSF athletes:
- EUR 100.00; payment on site: credit card or cash.
