New registration process for open WDSF title competitions

WDSF Open World or Open European Championships are title competitions that may be danced by all interested dance couples in the respective age category, whereby one partner must be in possession of a Swiss passport. The STSV no longer sends invitations to licensed couples.

A new procedure applies with immediate effect:

  • The announcement of open world or European championships will appear on the STSV homepage and in the "Dates" section
  • Interested couples with a WDSF licence should register no later than 14 days before the official registration deadline at staeldi@dancesport.ch stating both first and last names, the MIN number and a contact e-mail address.
  • The STSV reports the couples to the organiser with an email copy to the couples

The first invitation concerns the "Holland Masters" in Rotterdam:

  • WDSF Open World Championship Senior 2 Standard (Friday, 11 October 2024)
  • WDSF Open European Championship Under 21 Latin (Saturday, 12 October 2024)
  • WDSF Open World Championship Senior 1 10 Dance (Sunday, 13 October 2024)

If you would like to take part in one of these world championship tournaments, please contact Brigitte Stäldi/STSV.
