Good news for all licensed dance couples - the 2025 Swiss Championships have all been placed, and two of three title competitions have already been confirmed for 2026.
The 2025 Latin title competition will once again take place in Wallisellen. The organiser TTZ is holding this championship as part of the Glattalpokal. Fortunately, the Ticino Dance Sport Club TDSC is once again hosting a championship at the Tenero Sports Centre, where excellent conditions prevail. Latin tournaments for all age groups will be held here on Saturday, as well as a large solo tournament on Sunday.
- Saturday, 20 September 2025: Swiss Latin Championships in Wallisellen
- Saturday, 22 November 2025: Swiss Standard Championships in Tenero
- Sunday, 23 November 2025: Swiss Ten Dance Championships in Tenero
As part of the 20th anniversary of the Trafo Cup, the Happy Dancers Baden 2026 for a two-day dance festival with two championships:
- Saturday, 21 March 2026: Swiss Standard Championships in Baden
- Sunday, 22 March 2026: Swiss Ten Dance Championships in Baden
The STSV board is very happy that these clubs are showing their commitment. And it is noticeable that other clubs would like to offer their services as organisers again. "Of course, it would be great if we could award the 2026 Latin Championships before the summer holidays," says an optimistic Brigitte Stäldi, Head of Sports Organisation. And STSV President Walter Vogt sees these commitments as a sign that the STSV community is alive and kicking. "If we know two years in advance who wants to organise which championship, then we all suddenly take a lot of pressure off ourselves and the clubs also have a lot more time to prepare in order to organise worthy events."
