Steurer/Martin with World Cup premiere

The TDC Juniors Arjan Steurer/Aroa Martin finished 27th at their World Championships premiere in Vilnius/Lithuania. In the field of 31 national champions, they left Belgium, Japan, Austria and Taipei behind. The result sheet shows a very good balance in Standard, where 34 of the 46 marks were achieved. If the same result had been achieved in Latin, they would have reached the second round - 18 Marks were missing. Because Steurer/Martin were the only couple registered for the Swiss Ten Dance Championships in 2021, the STSV could not award them a championship title according to the tournament regulations. The versatile young dancers earned their participation in the World Championships in Lithuania, among other things, by beating the entire youth field - out of competition - in Uetikon in July.
