Technique in dance sport requires organisation - by which we mean the functional interplay of body elements in movement. In order to learn this organisation, trainers need a specific methodology.
The STSV and the ÖTSV are joining forces to offer their members a joint workshop on Sunday 8 February at the Dancers dance school in Wallisellen. This is designed as a follow-up module to the STSV coach training programme launched in 2025. Further modules will follow in the course of the year. The course instructor is sports scientist Markus Hackl, national coach of the ÖTSV junior squad and WDSF judge. Hackl combines technique, movement science and judging practice in international dance sport.
The workshop is free of charge and is primarily aimed at coaches. Tournament couples in the age categories Pupils to Senior I are expressly welcome. The number of participants on site is limited, which is why the workshop is also offered via ZOOM.
