All of us who are part of the Swiss dance sport community can show our solidarity on the weekend of 22/23 November. After 2014 and 2018, the Swiss Standard and Ten Dance Championships will once again be held in Ticino, specifically at the Centro Sportivo in Tenero.
“They are a central sporting event for our association and an expression of our common goal of making dance sport visible and promoting it throughout Switzerland,“ STSV President Walter Vogt recently wrote to all club presidents, appealing to the solidarity and loyalty that is essential to revitalising Swiss dance sport.
On Saturday, there will also be a Latin tournament in the „side programme“ of the SM Standard, and on Sunday, in addition to the SM Ten Dance, there will also be a competition in the solo classes and in Standard for Seniors III and IV. Dancing couples and solo dancers can still register to take part until 8 November.
