Amateur and professional ballroom dancers in both Latin American and standard dances compete at the GOC at the highest international level in their respective age groups Juveniles (up to 11 years), Juniors I (12-13), Juniors II (14-15), Youth (16-18), Adults (over 18), Seniors (35+), Seniors II (45+), Seniors III (55+), Seniors IV (65+) as well as the Professionals (no age limit).
