To date, the STSV has not been able to find an organiser for the 2022 Swiss Dance Championships. The board would like to send a clear signal to interested clubs with an attractive support package so that the national title competitions in standard, Latin and ten-dance can be realised. The following goals are to be achieved:
- The financial risk for organisers is significantly reduced
- Planning security is increased at the same time
- The STSV supports the organisers operationally
To achieve these goals, the association provides organisers with a new Support package which contains the following elements:
- Discontinuation of tournament fees
- Assumption of the transport costs for delivery and return of the parquet flooring
- Complete assumption of costs for the adjudicators
- Active support and accompaniment of the organiser in the planning, promotion and reporting of the event
- Production of a TV signal for live streaming
- Sporty handling, including free tournament box
- Medals for the top three per age category
- Assumption of SUISA fees
In return, the organisers undertake to implement the Swiss Championships in close cooperation with the STSV and according to "best practice" principles. To the Tasks of the organiser include in particular:
- Organisation, design and financing of the premises as well as the technical infrastructure (light, sound) required for holding the championship.
- Appropriate design of the location (decoration, adornment)
- Operation of catering, ticketing
- Organisation of the transport and accommodation of the adjudicators, officials and guests
- Recruitment and deployment of the necessary helper personnel
- Financial settlement according to the specifications of the association
- Levy of 35% of net profit to STSV
Several associations can apply together to organise an event. An event can also be awarded to a professional organiser. A Swiss Championship can be embedded in an already existing STSV tournament.
